the God we believe

우리가 믿는 하나님은 우리를 고치려고 하지 않으십니다. 우리가 믿는 하나님은 우리를 조종하지 않으십니다. 우리가 믿는 하나님은 우리를 있는 그대로 사랑하십니다. 우리가 믿는 하나님은 우리 곁에 앉아 우리와 함께 우는 그런 분이십니다.

하나님께서 우리 앞의 산을 옮기지 않으실 수도 있습니다. 하지만 하나님께서는 우리가 그 산 앞에 서서 어찌할 바를 몰라 울고 있을 때,

우리 곁에 조용히 앉아 함께 울고 계십니다.

The God we believe is not the one who tries to fix us. The God we believe is not the one who has control over or manipulates us. The God we believe is the one who loves us as who we are. The God we believe is the one who cries with us, sitting next to us.

God may not move away the mountains in front of us, but God is crying with us when we cry not knowing what to do or where to go.
